Williamsburg Garden Club to meet for picnic

The Williamsburg Garden Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7 for a pot luck picnic at the home of Sherri Kissinger.

Co-hostesses for the evening are Kristin Kissinger and Chris Graf. Members are asked to bring a covered dish to share and may invite guest.

Roll call is to be answered by naming a favorite plant for shady spaces in the garden. Members will be discussing plans for the 2012-13 calendar year, as well as, the club’s annual mum sale that will begin on Aug. 17 and 18 and continue each Friday and Saturday through Sept. 8.

At the recent OAGC State Convention the Williamsburg Garden Club was named the Outstanding Garden Club in Region 4. The club welcomes new members.
