The Clermont County Board of Developmental Disabilities is excited to announce ‘A Night with Sinatra’ on Aug. 11 featuring Matt Snow of Miami Township.

Snow is known as The Cincinnati Sinatra and is performing from 7-11 p.m. as a benefit for the Committee To Support People With Disabilities, the levy committee for CCDD.

“This event will be held at Moonlite Gardens in the Coney Island Park,” said Lisa Davis, Director of Community Relations for CCDD and a levy volunteer. “We felt this was the perfect place to hear ‘Sinatra’ sing. It’s historic, romantic, and will provide the perfect backdrop for the music that will be performed throughout the evening.”

Snow is a well-known vocalist, deejay, and Master of Ceremonies. He is a favorite in the Tri-State area, having celebrated over 40 years in show business. Although Snow is a long-time fan of Frank Sinatra, he does not consider himself an impersonator; rather, his performances are a tribute to Sinatra as well as other musicians of the era. Songs from Tony Bennett, Bobby Darin, Andy Williams, and Bing Crosby are just a few Snow will work into his show.

Snow is very compassionate toward many groups and does a lot of charity work. His work at this CCDD levy fundraiser has personally touched his heart.

“As a 20+ year resident of Clermont County and someone who’s been involved in the community, I am glad to have the chance to help in this effort to support the developmentally disabled in our county,” said Snow. “My father went blind late in life, my brother had a stroke at 42, and my Goddaughter who survived brain surgery at the age of 2 turns 20 this summer and still has issues related to her disability. So my family has first-hand experience with the struggles of the disabled.”

‘A Night with Sinatra’ will appeal to all age groups, not just those who grew up in the 40s and 50s. There will be several opportunities for the audience to enjoy dancing under the stars, mingle, and meet with Snow and the band during breaks.

“We’ll have a very entertaining show for all who attend,” said Snow. “And it’s always a pleasure to work with the legendary Pete Wagner Band.”

The Pete Wagner Band is a Cincinnati Tradition that has been performing in the Tri-State area since 1954. This musical ensemble provides entertainment for weddings, reunions, fundraisers, and other affairs. They have many accolades to their name, including performing for five Presidents over the years.

Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy a dessert bar, a silent auction/raffle, and will have the opportunity to be photographed by Towapa Photo Farm. Picture packages vary in price and can accommodate group shots as well as individual or couple portraits. A portion of each package that is purchased will be donated to the fundraiser. The evening is casual, but Vintage Hollywood dress is welcome.

Peter Paul Office Equipment is one sponsor of the event. Opportunities for additional support are still available. Sponsorships levels are $1,000, $2,500 and $5,000.

Tickets for ‘A Night with Sinatra’ are $30 each or $175 for a table of eight. They can be purchased via PayPal at www.clermontddlevy.com or by calling (513) 767-5074. For sponsorship information, contact clermontddlevy@gmail.com.

“Get a table together, and save yourself some money on the ticket price,” said Snow. “Join me in aiding a worthy cause!”
