Ruth E. Shepherd-Scott, 69, of Peebles, died July 3 in Cincinnati.

Shepherd-Scott owned the Country Inn Restaurant in Sardinia.

She is survived by her husband Ronald Scott, children Patricia (Bill) McGannon, Jennifer Coffey and Cheryl (Chris) Broughton, step-children Terry (Jenna) Scott, Greg (Kenni) Scott and Dusty (Kristi) Scott, 22 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and siblings Virginia Fultz, Louella Lohr and Larry Shepherd.

She was preceded in death b her siblings Jane Fite, Lucian Shepherd Jr., and half brother Jack Stagge.

Services 9:30 a.m. July 7 at Sardinia Church of Christ. Interment at Greenlawn Cemetery in Milford. Memorials to The American Cancer Society.
