Batavia man charged for using weapons while under the influence
The charge stems from an incident that occurred at his residence at 4560 Waterdance Drive in Batavia.
Clermont County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol Units were dispatched to 4560 Waterdance Drive at 7:05 a.m. Monday, June 11 for a report of a burglary in progress.
Sheriff’s Office crime scene unit and investigators responded and after an extensive investigation, the reported burglary was determined to be unfounded.
The homeowner, Stephen Rouff was under the influence at the time of the incident and admitted to discharging numerous firearms inside of his residence.
No one was injured during the incident.
Rouff was transported to the Clermont Mercy Hospital for examination, and was subsequently discharged and transported to the Clermont County Jail.
