Dan Housley, 65, of Ohio Township, died May 31.

Housley served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and received two purple hearts. He was also a dedicated carpenter and founded Housley Homes Company in 1980. He leaves a legacy of beautiful custom homes throughout the Cincinnati area.

Housley is survived by his wife Nancy, children Stephanie (Chris Lacinak) Housley, Charles Housley and Ben Housley, step-children Jenny Kimball and Mark (Olivia) Kimball, father Clinton Mize and brothers Victor and Doug Mize.

He was preceded in death by his mother Edith Mize and sister Genie Sue Morris.

Visitation 5 p.m. June 5 and services 10 a.m. June 6, both at First Baptist Church of Glen Este.
