Donovan Francis Carlier, 91

Donnovan Francis Carlier, 91, of Batavia, died May 25 in Batavia.

Carlier served in the United States Navy as a motor machinist mate during World War II and was also a sheet metal worker for RE Forshee.

He is survived by his wife Esther Drum Riehle Carlier, daughters Donna (Lee) Tatham, Sue (John) Matthews and Nancy Smyth, step-son Frederick Riehle, step-daughter Janet Schmid, 21 grandchildren 15 great-grandchildren and sister Helen Rosselot.

He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Pollit Carlier, step-son Robert Riehle and sister Dorothy (Earl) Mcafee.

Services 11 a.m. May 29 at St. Louis Church in Owensville. Interment at St. Louis Cemetery in Owensville. Memorials to St. Louis School, P.O. Box 85, Owensville, OH 45160 or Crossroads Hospice.
