Williamsburg Athletic Director Rick Healey announced two varsity job openings for the 2012 season in girls’ volleyball and girls’ soccer.

Both sports compete in the fall, but Healy said with summer camps and off-season training, he would like to fill the positions as soon as possible.

The girls’ volleyball team at Williamsburg is coming off a very successful season that saw the Lady Wildcats notch a 20-2 record en route to a sectional tournament championship and district tournament appearance. Williamsburg also won the Southern Buckeye Conference National Division with a perfect 10-0 record.

The girls’ soccer team went 7-8-1, finishing in fourth place of the SBC-National.

Cincinnati Country Day knocked the Lady Wildcats out of the sectional tournament in the first round.

Williamsburg will lose five seniors from their 2011-12 team, but return 16 varsity lettermen.

If you or anyone you know has interest in either of the openings, please contact Rick Healey, Williamsburg athletic director, either by phone or email. You can reach him on his office phone at (513) 724-2211 ext. 318 or via email at healey_r@burgschools.org.
