Opal Marie Hurst, 89, of Charles Town, died Nov. 22 at Willow Tree Manor in Charles Town.
Hurst was born in Rising Sun, Ind. She lived in Clermont County from 1945 to 2000. She worked for 20 years in the tax office in Batavia as a clerk. She was a member of the DAV.
Hurst is survived by her daughters Marcia (James) Lance and Sandra Ledford, sister Carolyn Clifton, brother Charles Martin, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Albert J. Hurst, sister Jane Martin, brother Hershel Martin and parents William Martin and Clara Martin.
