Plane overshoots runway at Clermont County Airport

Troopers investigate the plane crash on Taylor Road.

A light airplane, a World War II era Curtiss P-40, overshot the runway at Clermont County Airport near Batavia Friday, Dec. 8.

The plane went through a fence and came to rest on Taylor Road. No injuries were reported.

The Clermont County Sheriff’s Office and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the scene.

An investigation will be conducted by the State Patrol.
