Russell Smith Schauer, 71, died Nov. 14.
Schauer was a United States Navy Veteran and a member of Chapter E-2 of GWRRA.
He is survived by Heather, mother Pauline, children Elaine (Terr) Mahurin, Renee (Jamie) Lawson, Tammy Kenneda and Terrie (Time) Latham, grandchildren, Joshua, Birran, Cory, Ashley, Kayla, Tiffany, Brittany and Brooke, great-grandchildren Hannah, Lilly, Olyvia, Kingston, Clayton, siblings Patricia Lahm Allen, Gene (Margie) Schauer, Jerry (Pat) Shauer, Ernie (Julie) Schauer, Marvin Schauer, Linda Fraley (Jim Bushman), Eloise (Rob) Hirschauer and April (Wayne) Partin.
He was preceded in death by his father Clifford Schauer and great-granddaughter Lainey Elizabeth.
Visitation 5 p.m. Nov. 17 and services 10 a.m. Nov. 18 at E.C Nurre Funeral Home in Amelia. Memorials to Shriners Burns Hospital, Batavia Masonic Lodge #104 or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Cincinnati.
