Williamsburg teen dies in car crash
Breanna Ritchie, a 16-year-old from Batavia, was killed in a car crash in Williamsburg Township Thursday, Nov. 10. She was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel.
The crash occurred at approximately 10:55 p.m. on Twin Bridges Road.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Ritchie was one of four passengers in a 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis being driven by Ryan Pirrello, 18, of Williamsburg.
Pirrello was driving east on Twin Bridges when, according to the Patrol, he failed negotiate a curve and traveled left of center. He then went off the right side of the roadway and struck a guardrail and a tree.
Pirrello was transported to Clermont Mercy Hospital by the Williamsburg Township EMS with non-life threatening injuries. Three other passengers in the vehicle, Richard Klette, Jr, 19, Joseph Catron, 20, and Natalie Chandler, 14, also suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to Clermont Mercy Hospital.
