Dr. Robert Alan Baker, 79, of Chattanooga, Tenn., formerly of Williamsburg, died Oct. 28 in Chattanooga.

Baker was a charter member of the board and a member of the planning committee for Mercy Hospital Clermont.

He is survived by his wife Cam, children Tom (Dana) Baker, Tim (Kari) Baker, Teri (Dave) Umbarger, April Baker and Sharon (Bill) Hegyi, grandchildren Sydney, Haley, Shawn, Callie, Ella, Abby, Levi, Brooklyn and Phoenix. Mother-in-law Ferne Williford, sisters-in-law Penny (Ross) Owes and Milly (Larry) Unger, brother-in-laws Monte (Barbara) Williford and Mike (Joan) Williford and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation 6 p.m. Nov. 3 and services 11 a.m. Nov. 4, both at Charles H. McIntyre Funeral Home in Felicity. Interment at Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown.

    So sorry to hear about Dr Baker. He was my doctor as well as my mom and dad’s (doug & vickie Byus) years ago. He was a great guy & doctor and he loved his children & grandchildren a ton. My condolences to the family.
