Barlage increased her students’ OAA Reading test scores by 24 percent as well as created an incredibly innovative online classroom for her students. She teaches third grade and has been with VCS for nine years.
“More than expected” was the theme of the Opening Day ceremony, held on Aug. 22 at the Wedgewood Country Club in Powell. A variety of awards were given such as the “Distinguished Educator” award and the “Technology Implementation” award.
“I truly believe we have the best staff around,” James McCord, VCS Ohio superintendent said. “I couldn’t be more proud of their accomplishments.”
