Louis Bruck signs his college letter-of-intent as his parents Lou and Namcye Bruck, seated, and the Milford High School baseball staff look on.
Louis Bruck, Milford High School senior, has signed a letter-of-intent to continue his education and athletic career at Malone College, Canton, Ohio.

He will major his studies in the field of biology and will play baseball for the Pioneers.

At Milford High, he appeared by pitching in 24 games, one-half of them as a starter. He recorded a respectable 6-3 career record and a 4.47 earned run average.

He will probably best be remembered for earning one of his six prep career saves in the Division I sectional championship game against Kings’ Knights this season. He hurled 3.1 innings and did not allow an opponent to reach base.

In 2008 he earned the prestigious Eagle Award for hard work, dedication, and discipline in baseball. He also served on the high school Athletic Leadership Council his junior and senior years.

He is the son of Lou and Nancye Bruck.

Malone College’s founder and first president was John Walter Malone, a Clermont County native from Owensville.
