Amelia knocked out Norwood in an inning-shortened battle. Shelby Engle whiffed 10 of the Indians to earn the win on the mound. She received good offensive support from Chappell who had a couple of hits, runs, scored and runs batted in (RBI). Kaiser hit in another four runs for the Barons.

The Lions were eliminated by the Bob cats.

Williamsburg 11 Cincinnati Country Day 0 (five innings)

In another mercy-ending game called by the umpires, the Wildcats made quick wotk of the Indians. Meiebergar fired the win for the Blue and White from the hill. Wagers and Dennis both smashed round-trippers and had two base raps, and Maedors ade two more hits to the Clermont countians’ cause.

In the sectional championship contest played at Lakota West High School, Kelley Benhase whiffed 11 Cardinals to help lead the Purple and White to victory. Steinmetz two double the vicrtors with the necessary offensive punch.

Finneytown 2 Amelia 1

The Barons were eliminated from the sectional tournament by Finneytown 2-1. Shelby Engle struck out 12 Wildcats for the Blue and White.
