Gary Brown, Branch Manager of W.W. Grainger, Inc. presents a check in the amount of $10,000 to Robin White, President/CEO, Great Oaks Career Campuses.
The Grainger Foundation has donated $10,000 to the Great Oaks Education Foundation in support of its mission to expand access to quality career-technical programs and services for youth and adults.

“This grant will help provide scholarships for our students,” said Robin White, President/CEO, Great Oaks Career Campuses. “This opportunity will help give students the chance to prepare for college and a successful career path. We are grateful to The Grainger Foundation for its generosity.”

The programs at Great Oaks currently serve more than 10,000 high school students each year in 36 southwest Ohio school districts.

The donation was recommended by Gary Brown, Branch Manager of W.W. Grainger, Inc.’s Cincinnati’s Blue Ash location. Grainger has been a part of the Cincinnati business community for more than 50 years as the leading broad line supplier of maintenance, repair, and operating products. “We are proud to partner with Great Oaks,” said Brown. “We understand the importance of educating the workforce of tomorrow.”

The Grainger Foundation, an independent, private foundation based in Lake Forest, Illinois, was established in 1949 by William W. Grainger, founder of W.W. Grainger, Inc.

Great Oaks is one of the largest public career-technical school districts in the United States, serving high school students and adults in 12 counties in southwestern Ohio.
