Do you love food? Do you love Clothes? Do you love both? Come and join us for our April Food & Nutrition and Clothing & Fashion Clinics!

These Clinics will be loads of fun for all 4-H’ers. Thursday, April 7, the Family & Consumer Sciences Teen Board will be hosting an evening Food & Nutrition Clinic. Participants will discover ways of making delicious, healthy snacks for youth on-the-go! Come meet and be entertained by our Special Guest Rita Heikenfeld!

Rita Heikenfeld is an Award-winning Syndicated Journalist, Certified Culinary Professional, Accredited family herbalist, Author, Cooking teacher, and Media personality. And the FCS Teen Board will be helping you and your cooking projects become “Competition Ready”!

Now if that sounds fun, then this should sound great, too! On Thursday, April 14, we will be hosting a Clothing and Fashion Clinic. Topics covered during this evening clinic will be: “The 7 Clues to a Total Look” by the FCS Teen Board, “Expert Finishes to Complete your Garment” from special guest, Master Clothing Educator and member of the American Sewing Guild, Regina Neer, and “Quilting for your Project” from our special guest expert, Sharon Francis.

These fun and educational April 4-H Clinics will be held at the 4-H Hall and Kitchen from 6:30-8 p.m. New 4-H Family & Consumer Sciences projects will be introduced, judges from the state level will speak, and there will be hands-on activities for all participants.

There is a nominal fee to cover the cost of supplies: $3 per participant for each clinic or attend both clinics for a low cost of $5. Please see our flyer at the Ohio State University Extension, Clermont County website at clermont.osu.edu.

If you have ever thought about joining 4-H and would like to learn more about the 4-H program, this would be an excellent opportunity to attend and experience a 4-H event.

Registration deadline will be 4 p.m. Monday, April 4. To get more information, call the OSU Extension office at (513) 732-7070 or email cler @osu.edu.
