It was the first year as a member of the American Division of the Southern Buckeye Conference, but Amelia emerged as the champion of the varsity girls tennis race.
Amelia
The Barons won the championship of the Southern Buckeye Conference American Division.
Amelia shutout Goshen 5-0 in the Southern Buckeye American. The winners were first singles Hannah Fulks 6-1, 6-0, second singles Ashley West 6-1, 6-0, third singles Ally Chamberlain by forfeit, first doubles Cassie Amato and Holly Buten 6-3, 6-0, and second doubles Mallory Buten and Rachel McClure 6-1, 6-0.
The Blue and White got by New Richmond 3-2. Amelia swept the singles behind the victories of Fulks 6-2, 6-0, West 6-3, 6-2, and Chamberlain 6-0, 6-0. The Lions swept the doubles with the triumphant being first doubles Miranda Stilwell and Alex White 6-4, 6-4 and second doubles Marisa David and Savanah Glenn 6-2, 7-6 (5). This was a Southern Buckeye American contest.
Clermont Northeastern was whitewashed 5-0 in the American Division of the Southern Buckeye. The winning Barons were Fulks 6-0, 6-1, West 6-0, 6-0, Chamberlain 6-1, 6-1, Buten and McClure 6-0, 6-1, and Ashley Houston and Shivangi Patel 6-0, 6-0.
Bethel-Tate succumbed once again, this time 4-1. Amelia’s winners were Fulks 6-3, 7-6, West 6-4, 6-3, Amato and Buten 6-3, 6-7, 6-4, and Houston and McClure 6-4, 6-4. The winner for the Red and Gray was third singles MacKenzine Rinehart 2-6, 6-0, 6-4.
Western Brown was put down 4-1 in the Southern Buckeye American behind the victorious efforts of the Barons’ Fulks 6-4, 7-6 (7-0), Chamberlain 7-6, (7-3), 6-3, Amato and Buten 6-4, 6-4, and Houston and McClure 7-5, 6-1.
Milford
The E-Gals won an inner-county, non-league game over Batavia 5-0. Beating the Bulldogs were first singles Madison Laskarzewski 6-0, 6-0, second singles Brittney Lovdal 6-0, 6-0, third singles Juleah Morehouse 6-1, 6-0, first doubles Jade Brown and Jamie Miser 6-0, 6-1, and second doubles Haleigh Brown and Susie Facciola 6-1, 6-3.
In another non-conference clash, the Red and White mastered Mariemont’s Warriors 4-1 behind the wins of Laskarzewski 6-2, 6-3, Lovdal 6-2, 6-0, Brown and Gabby Medvedec 7-5, 7-6 (4), and Eliza Marchant and Morehouse 6-4, 6-3.
Princeton was also overpowered by Milford 3-2 in a non-conference confrontation. Emerging victorious for the E-Gals were Lovdal 6-2, 6-0, third singles Shannon Glancy 6-3, 6-4, and Marchant and Morehouse 7-5, 6-3.
Glen Este
The Trojans topped Taylor’s Yellow Jackets 4-1. The GE winners were first singles Sarah Parrish 6-1, 6-3, third singles Ashley Dove by forfeit, first doubles Mary Baker and Peregrina 6-2, 6-1, and second doubles Keara Mulvany and Haleigh Sollmann 6-2, 6-0.
Bethel-Tate
The Tigers beat Blanchester 4-1 in a non-division game of the Southern Buckeye Conference. The winners in Red and Gray were first singles Clare Schaljo 6-2, 6-2, second singles Heather Daugherty 7-5, 6-4, first doubles Morgan Adams and Deanna Dameron 4-6, 6-1, 6-2, and second doubles Melissa McMullen and Wallace 6-3, 6-2.
In a battle between the Red and Gray of Clermont County and the Southern Buckeye Conference, Bethel’s brand beat Goshen’s 5-0. Winning for BTHS were Schaljo 6-1, 6-1, Daugherty 6–1, 6-1, Rinehart 6-3, 6-0, Adams and Dameron 6-4, 6-4, and McMullen and Wallace 6-0, 6-0.
Goshen
The Warriors overcame Batavia in a non-division game of the Southern Buckeye 3-2. Goshen swept the singles, Madison Martell 6-1, 6-0, Chyna Perkins 6-1, 6-1, and Abigale Poff 6-2, 3-6, 7-4. The Bulldogs won both sides of the doubles action behind Nancy Gerrard and Caitlin Knudsen 6-2, 2-1 (retired), and Harbottle and Hannah White 6-1, 6-0.
Clermont Northeastern was defeated 4-1 in the fray between arch-rivals. The victors in Red and Gray were Martell 6-3, 6-2, Perkins 6-1, 7-6 (7-3), Musgrove 6-3, 6-2, and Poff and Robbins 6-2, 6-2. The winners for the Blue and Gold were Lillian Arthur and Elizabeth Glasgo 6-1, 6-4.
The Red and Gray skimmed by the Red and Black 3-2. Goshen’s triumphant were Martell 7-5, 6-2, Perkins 6-0,
6-2, and Musgrove 6-4, 6-4. New Richmond’s victorious were Stilwell and White 6-2, 6-2 and David and Glenn 6-0, 6-0.
The Warriors were disarmed by Western Brown 5-0 in the American Division of the Southern Buckeye Conference.

The Lions lost to Western Brown 4-1. The Clermont countians’ point was scored by first doubles Stilwell and White 6-1, 6-4.
