Wilson wins race for commissioner
Archie Wilson will join Commissioners Bob Proud and Ed Humphrey as the newest Clermont County Commissioner next year. The Republican took just under 60 percent of the vote Tuesday night with 35,829 votes. Croswell won 24,132 votes. Wilson was endorsed by the Clermont County Republican party over two-term Republican incumbent Scott Croswell. Croswell dropped out of the primary race to face Wilson in the general election as an independent this fall.
New UC East facility is dedicated with celebration
Two years after the Batavia Ford transmission plant closed its doors the University of Cincinnati celebrated its new UC East facility Thursday, Oct. 28. UC spent the summer remodeling the administrative building at the plant and began holding classes in the building in September.

Each year our employees at Clermont Senior Services see hundreds of senior citizens who cannot afford to purchase everyday necessities that you and I take for granted. Often these seniors have little or no family support to help meet their needs, which makes our Adopt-a-Senior Program all the more important.
