Amelia High School Business Professionals hold officer induction

Amelia High School Business Professionals of America held an officer induction ceremony Oct. 7.

The 2009-2010 chapter officers are Katie Morgan-President, Katie Whitaker-Vice President, Kenzie Mullins-Secretary, Justin Smedley-Treasurer, Shelby Engle-Historian, Virginia Henderson-Parliamentarian, and Ashley Houston-Reporter, Connor Morrow-Sergeant at Arms, Samantha Calloway and Kayla Welch-Junior Representatives and Eddie Trumble and Haley Julifs are Sophomore Representatives.

This organization is within the Business and Technology small school at Amelia High School.

The students participate in Business Professionals of America to improve there leadership, technology and professional skills.

In January, the students will be competing in regional contests that could lead them to state competitions in Columbus.

The Business Management Program at Amelia High School is always in need of community and business members to participate in club activities and Business Advisory Council.
