New Richmond (7-3 overall, 4-0 Southern Buckeye Conference American Division) closed out its champion Southern Buckeye Conference American Division schedule with a convincing 42-0 win over Bethel-Tate (1-9, 1-3 SBC-A). The host Lions led after each break 7-0, 28-0, and 28-0.

Joey McCabe, senior wide receiver, tallied twice on respective 40 and six yard passes from junior quarterback Derrick Dillow. Nick Williams, senior running back, scored a pair of six-pointers on five-yard rushes. Hill scored from six yards out and Austin Warden on a dash of five yards to complete the Red and Black’s scoring. Zak Ritter, senior placekicker, was perfect on all six of his conversion kicks.

Head coach Dan Scholz of the Lions noted the fine receiving of McCabe and the fine rushing of Williams and Warden behind the strong offensive line of tackles Cole Bird and Isaac Stroud, guards Marty Mahaffey and Jeff Snider, center Adams and tight end Danny Scholz.

Williamsburg (8-2 overall, 3-1 Southern Buckeye Conference National Division) walloped Cincinnati Christian 56-0 in a non-conference confrontation.
