Williamsburg, Amelia, and Goshen were the winners of Week Nine’s Clermont County high school varsity football games.

Williamsburg (7-2 overall, 3-1 Southern Buckeye Conference National Division) gained an impressive non-conference triumph over visiting Landmark Christian 43-7. The Wildcats were in control at each intermission 22-0, 29-0, and 36-0.

Anthony Young, junior tight end, scored twice for the Blue White to lead its balanced scoring efforts on pass receptions from Kevin Keeton, senior quarterback, covering 20 and 30 yards, respectively. The other six-pointers scored by ‘Burg came on Brandon Boggs’ 29-yard run, Jason Zavislak’s three-yard plunge, Jacob Edmisten’s 35-yard pass link-up from Keeton, and a one-yard dive by Matt Richardson. Dane Weeks kicked five conversion points and Joey Clowerey added two more points to the total on a toss from Edmisten.
