The days of salon $10 haircuts are back again! At least they will be from 4 – 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13 at Kharisma 775 B Eastgate Drive in Cincinnati when the $10 Haircuts for Hunger event will take place.

$10 Haircuts for Hunger is being planned by salon owner Donna Miles-Passick to benefit Inter Parish Ministry (IPM). According to Miles-Passick, “This is just a simple way for us to give to those in our community who need help with food and clothing.”

The event, in its third year, will include $10 haircuts, door prizes and refreshments. More than 100 people are expected to come out and support those in need with all proceeds going to IPM.

$10 Haircuts for Hunger is one of the many events Inter Parish Ministry is involved with to raise awareness this September during Hunger Action Month. Other events include a Community Eats Out for Hunger Event and the Stomp Out Hunger 5K event on Oct. 2nd at Armstrong Chapel in Indian Hill.
