Batavia bridge gets new flowers in boxes, pots

As part of an ongoing beautification plan, the Village Association of Batavia recently put new flowers in the planter boxes on the bridge on Main Street.

The group used hot pink petunias, blue scaevola and lime green sweet potato vine as the plant material.

New this year are four new barrel planters, two on each end of the bridge.

The association will maintain the flowers throughout the season.

The Village Association of Batavia is a 501c3 nonprofit organization with a mission to preserve and revitalize the village of Batavia.

The Village Association of Batavia has placed four pots on the Main Street bridge.
