Marvin Gilbert “Coonie” Rogers, 87 died Sunday, June 20, 2010. He was born Feb. 3, 1923 in Mt. Sterling, Ky.
He retired from Steelcraft Mfg. after 39 years. He was a member of the Moscow Masonic Lodge for 55 years.
Rogers was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister, and his grandson Dennis.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years Wanda Rogers (nee. Reed), sons Donald (Nancy) Rogers, Daniel (Nola) Rogers, Dennis (Roberta) Rogers, and Randall (Jane) Rogers, 12 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010 at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, New Richmond. Visitation was held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, New Richmond, with a Masonic service at 7:45 p.m. Interment Laurel Cemetery.
