The Clermont County Sheriff’s Office has charged Sean Jackson, 42, of Colerain Township, with offenses related to the closing of the Stonelick Covered Bridge.

If found guilty he faces a $932.50 fine. An investigation has named Jackson as the driver of a Forrest Green Recycling truck that witnesses say crossed the bridge twice Friday, May 21.

The bridge was closed the next day when neighbors called the County Engineer’s Office to warn them that support beams were dangling from the bottom of the 142-year-old structure.
