Batavia is the champion of the National Division of the Southern Buckeye Conference tennis race. The Bulldogs concluded their conference campaign with an 8-3 record.

“Experience helped the team. They were a year older and had another year’s experience behind them and they worked hard during the off season. . . Sisodia and Moles worked hard on their own,” said Batavia head coach Jon Nau.

Nathan Sisodia, a senior, was the first singles for the Green and White and sported a 10-5 record, the second singles was junior Chad Moles with a 14-1 standard, the third singles was senior Alec Bowling who was 11-4. Nau described Moles as “playing quite well through the entire season.”
