The Pierce Township Police Department has collected 30 used cell phones and has donated 15 to the Clermont YWCA to assist victims of Domestic Violence and/or stalking.

The remaining 15 phones will be donated to Cell Phones For Soldiers, a non-profit organization which assists U.S. Armed Forces personnel call home from overseas.

Pierce Township has been used cell phones from citizens for over five years and donating to charitable causes.

The department will continue to collect phones. The public is asked to drop off their phones to the Pierce Township Police Department, which will forward the phones to charitable causes.
