If you are looking for a way to cut transportation costs, as part of the fifth annual national Dump the Pump Day on Thursday, June 17, 2010, Clermont Transportation Connection (CTC) is offering free rides on any of the system’s fixed routes.
“Taking the bus to work not only saves you money, it gives you extra free time to read and relax,” said CTC Director Ben Capelle.
According to the American Public Transportation Association (APTA), a two car household that downsizes to one car can save more than $9,000 in a year.
