James Elwood Tudor, 86, of Union Township, died Thursday, June 3, 2010. He was born Jan. 25, 1924 in Richmond, Ky.

He served in the Army in World War II and was a mechanic for Heekin Can Company.

Tudor was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Stella Herring Tudor Sr.

He is survived by his wife Ramona Sparks, children Joanna (Kenneth) Gibson, Elaine (Gary) Cooper, Rebecca (Thomas) Eichstadt, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren, and siblings Dorothy Grubbs, Florice Hall, and Harry Tudor Jr.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 7, 2010 at the Newtonsville Church of the Nazarene. Interment Graceland Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the U.S. Army.
