Milford, champion of the Fort Ancient Valley Conference Buckeye Division, Clermont Northeastern, champion of the Southern Buckeye Conference American Division, and Glen Este and Goshen have achieved the most impressive records of late among Clermont County’s high school varsity baseball squads.
Milford
The Eagles stunned St. Xavier 7-2 in non-conference competition. Winning pitcher Nick Hittner struck out six Bombers. Wes Minton lashed two triples and had three runs batted in (RBI) and Connor Ferguson had two hits.
Turpin was also taken 5-4 in a non-division game of the Fort Ancient Valley Conference. Chris Ticherich was the winner on the mound and helped himself by getting two base raps and Wes Minton powered a home run and had three RBI. Minton was credited for the save of Ticherich’s win.
