Burton L. Smith, Sr., 77, of Bethel died Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Mercy Clermont Hospital.
He was a retired machinist.
Smith was preceded in death by his sons David Smith and Terry Smith, parents Charles and Edith Smith, and by his great grandson Hayden D. Beckelhymer.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Smith, sons Burton Smith, Jr., Tim Smith, Rick Smith and Greg Smith, daughters Linda Golden, Lori Beckelhymer, Tracy Taylor, and Susan Davis, sister Bonnie Maphet, 23 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Kingsway Fellowship Church, Batavia. Internment Monroe Cemetery. E.C. Nurre Funeral Home is serving the family.
