A tribute to a great older American, Lois Dale Brown

May is Older Americans Month. We are fortunate to live in American and in Clermont County, which is a great place to live at any age. It is an especially great place to live during your later years, if you happen to need a little extra help to continue enjoying the comfort of your own home.

We are blessed to have a network of services like meals-on-wheels, transportation to the doctor, in-home personal care, adult day services, senior centers, and much more to help our older citizens live independently.

None of this would have been possible were it not for the foresight, perseverance, and dedication of a great older American who passed away in 2009.

Following is a tribute to that great older American, as shared by Tom Rocklin, chair of the board of trustee of Clermont Senior Services, in the agency
