Voter turnout Tuesday was much lower than expected despite gorgeous weather all day.
About 21,000 voters county-wide cast their ballots in the May Primary. They represent 15.2 percent of the registered voters in Clermont County. Turnout for the 2006 mid-term primary was 25 percent.
“Turnout was extremely low,” Clermont County Board of Elections Director Judy Miller said.
