Cameras installed at police department
Would-be criminals beware, the Union Township Police Department is more secure than ever. New security cameras that will cover the rear entrance to the police department and the front entrance to the service department will go online soon.
Easter ducks given a home
Many children will be given cute baby ducklings for Easter, but as spring turns into summer ducklings shed their down for duck feathers the cuteness wears off and the daily chores begin. That is when many domesticated ducks end up in the local pond or lake.
Ohio health director visits Clermont
The Clermont County General Health District was visited by Ohio Department of Health Director Alvin D. Jackson, M.D., who had several compliments for the district. Jackson has been making an effort to visit all of the state’s 129 health districts since he took office in 2007.
Clermont Counseling Center and Family Service unveil their new name, logo
After three years of discussion and careful planning, two of Greater Cincinnati’s long standing non-profit organizations have combined to form an organization capable of providing counseling services for the entire family across five counties. Clermont Counseling Center and Family Service are now LifePoint Solutions.
Marines answer families’ questions as recruits prepare for boot camp
Master Sgt. Rick St. John welcomed the families of poolees, the men and women who have have enlisted in the marine Corps but have not yet started boot camp, from Clermont, Hamilton, and Brown Counties to an information session Friday night. The annual Family Night is an opportunity for parents to meet several current and former Marines and learn just what their son or daughter can expect in boot camp and beyond.
Musical held at Bethel United Methodist Church
The musical at the Bethel United Methodist Church, last Sunday evening was wonderful and the crowd was big, over 400 peopleattended. After the music the church had cookies, fruit, veggies, lunch meat and cheese and folks sure enjoyed the music, snacks, and visiting with their friends.
