Car show to be hosted by Owensville PD

The Owensville Police Department will host an open car show from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday May 8 at the Clermont Northeastern Primary School on South Broadway in the Village.

The show is being hosted by the police department in order to raise money to provide equipment or training. It will also be a great opportunity just to have a good time.

Trophies will be awarded for best in show in 30 categories. Classic, antiques, custom and hot rods are welcome. Since it is an open car show there is no restriction as to what may be entered. Fastiques Car Club has agreed to be the judge.

Pre-registration for the vehicle is $10. Registration at the Gate is $15. Walk in is free of charge.

The Northeastern Lions Club and Clermont Northeastern Primary School will set up food booths. There will be music, games, and prizes as well as food.
