Milford began its varsity boys tennis season with a victory. Bethel-Tate continues to serve itself victories in the Southern Buckeye Conference with Batavia and New Richmond also creating a racket with some wins in the Southern Buckeye.

Milford

The Eagles won out over Winton Woods’ Warriors 4-1 in the Fort Ancient Valley Conference Buckeye Division. The winning Clermont countians were Gil Marchant (second singles) 6-0, 6-1, Ryan Wagner (second singles) 6-0, 6-0, Andrew Beckerich and Stewart Dowd (first doubles) 6-1, 6-1, and Ari Fitter and John Mechlin (second doubles) 6-1, 6-3.

Bethel-Tate

The Tigers edged Madeira’s Mustangs 3-2 led by the triumphs of Josh Hallgath (first singles) 6-3, 6-4, David Willenbrink (second singles) 6-0, 6-0, and Tyler Hess (third singles) 6-2, 6-1. This was a non-league match.
