Williamsburg won the boys championship of the Cincinnati Country Day Track and Field Invitational. The Wildcats scored 106 points to win the 12-team meet. Shroeder was a distant runner-up with 80 points.

‘Burg’s titlists of each event were Michael Posey (discus) 134-feet, 3-inches and Joey Catron (pole vault) 9-0.

Second place was earned by Billy Hickey (shot put) 41-7, and discus 134-3, Nick Heilman (pole vault) 9-0, Jason Zavislak (long jump) 18-3, Catron (high jump) 5-2, Robbin Shanklin (110-meter high hurdles) 18.0-seconds, the 400 relay of Shanklin, Jacob Simpson, Marcus Barber, and Clayton Scheidler (46.9), and the 1,600 relay of Simpson, Zavislak, Heilman, and Barber 3:56.
