The University of Cincinnati Clermont College women’s basketball team has earned recognition as the third best in the country among the programs of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) through their showing in the national championship tournament. This marks the second consecutive year the Cougars have earned third place in the country.

The Red and Black have earned an overall record of 28-7. Michael Matthews has been the head coach of the Cougars since the program began with a 3-27 record, then an incredible turnaround to 27-3, and 29-10 a year ago.

They are the champions of the Ohio Regional Campus Conference (ORCC) race with a final record of 12-1. Their domination of the ORCC earned the Cougars the laurels of being the state of Ohio champions.
