William John “Bill” Keer, 86, of Milford, died Friday, Feb. 26, 2010 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash. He was born Nov. 16, 1923 in Cincinnati, the son of Frank and Marie Engeln Keer.
Mr. Keer was a World War II veteran who served with the U. S. Army in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe. He received the European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with five bronze stars and the WWII Victory Medal. He was a retired jet engine technician with General Electric in Evendale and was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Mary Kathryn McKenna Keer.
He is survived by his second wife, Aileen Ogilvie Keer; children, Gregory (Karen) Keer, Margaret Mary (Jerry) Horton and Maryteresa (John) Hemm; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a later date with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery.
