If you have a family farm business you would like to pass along to your children and grandchildren, the Ohio State University (OSU) Extension-Clermont has a two-day workshop series you might want to check out called Farm Succession: Transferring Your Farm Business to the Next Generation.
The workshop will be held on Thursday, March 25 and Friday, March 26 in the 4-H Hall at the Clermont County Fairgrounds in Owensville. The workshop will run from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on both dates.
“This two-day workshop is designed to help you preserve your family business,” said OSU Extension-Clermont Program Coordinator of Agriculture and Natural Resources Latham Farley.
The cost to attend the workshop is $50 per individual and $25 for each additional family member.
The cost includes lunch (provided by Farm Credit Services) and materials.
For more information or to register for the workshop, call OSU Extension-Clermont at (513) 732-7070, e-mail Latham Farley at firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit the Web site www.clermont.osu.edu. The deadline to register is Monday, March 15, 2010.
