Glenn Trefz, 75, of Williamsburg and formerly of West Union, died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010 at Mercy Hospital Clermont. He was born June 20, 1934 in Tiffin Township in Adams County the son of Mansil B. and Ruth Wolfe Trefz.

Mr. Trefz retired from Dayton Power and Light after working as a supervisor at the Stuart Station in Sprigg Township. He was a former employee of General Electric and the Army Corps of Engineers. He was a member of the F&AM Lodge 43 in West Union, a member of the Amateur Radio Association and a member of Satterfield’s Chapel C.U. Church in Tiffin Township.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Doris Dryden Trefz.

He is survived by one daughter, Katrina Miller of Monroe Township in Adams County; four sons, Roger and Andrew Trefz of West Union, Curtis Trefz and Warren (Michelle) Trefz of Cincinnati; two brothers, Edwin (Bonnie) Trefz of West Union and Leon (Rwei-Ying) Trefz of Rose Hill, Kansas; two grandchildren and a special friend, Jan Jamison of Williamsburg.

Funeral services were held Feb. 24 at Lafferty Funeral Home in West Union.

Interment at West Union Cemetery.
