Bethel-Tate, unbeaten overall and champion of the Southern Buckeye Conference American Division, is adding on to its number of triumphs. Goshen continues to win in the same race and Glen Este continues to advance in the Fort Ancient Valley Conference Buckeye Division.
The Tigers won a hard-fought game over Ripley 92-83. The host Blue Jays led 20-19 after the first quarter and the score was tied at 41 at the half and the Clermont countians led 64-60 after three quarters of action.
Senior forward Louie Schaljo scorched the nets for 37 points for the Red and Gray, junior forward Tyler Bullock made 22, and senior forward Spencer Sutter 11 in this non-conference confrontation.
Schaljo fired in another 27 points, Bullock 15, and Sutter 14. Senior center Seth Varner led the Rockets by sinking 16 points and junior guard Josh Hogue added 10.
The Trojans had little trouble in hammering Harrison's Wildcats 64-44 on the losers' floor in the Fort Ancient Valley Conference Buckeye Division. The Clermont countians were ahead 13-7, tied 18-18, and poured it on to lead 36-22 going into the final frame.
Junior guard Corey Goedde made 19 points to pace the Purple and White, junior guard Shane Seckman contributed 12, and senior forward Curt Wesp 10.
The Warriors took the measure of New Richmond 69-59 down on the river. The Red and Gray held edges over the Red and Black at each halt 13-12, 33-31, and 51-40.
The winners displayed balanced scoring as senior guard Derek Bunnell made 21 points, senior forward Thomas Gibson 20, junior guard Derek Koch 14, and junior guard Nick Wake 13. The hosts' senior guard Jake Bostic led all scorers with 24 points.
Goshen also decisioned visiting Clermont Northeastern 69-55 in the Southern Buckeye Conference American. The hosts were in front 18-10, 28-23, and 50-39.
Bunnell sank 18 points, Gibson 15, and senior guard Nate Godby 11 for the winners and Varner 19 and senior center/forward Jordan Smith 10 for the losers.
The Eagles ousted Anderson 56-50 in the Fort Ancient Valley Conference Buckeye. After a 14-both first period, the Redskins led 29-27 at the half before the Clermont countians took over 40-38 after three quarters of play.
Junior forward Nick Hittner and junior guard Zach Baker led the winning offense with 14 and 13 points, respectively.
In non-division play of the Fort Ancient Valley Conference, the Eagles eliminated Kings 55-46. Milford led 11-8 after the first stanza, but was behind 17-16 and 28-24 after the next rests.

In another non-division game of the Fort Ancient Valley, Walnut Hills stopped Milford 59-40 as the Hamilton County Eagles were ahead at each break 23-12, 33-20, and 49-28. Alex Cummings and Robert Overback, senior forwards, topped Milford's scoring with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
The Bulldogs nullified New Richmond 61-48 in a non-division game of the Southern Buckeye played on the winners' floor. The Green and White led 15-8 after one quarter, fell behind at the half 19-17 and regained the lead 41-34 to go into the final period. Senior forward Caleb Santel made 19 points, senior guard Matt Cook 18, and junior center Luke Bradburn 12 for the victors. The Lions' Bostic led all scorers with 26 points.
Blanchester beat Batavia 53-45 in a National Division game of the Southern Buckeye played on the winners' court. Blan led 11-10 after one frame, tied at 20 at halftime, and the Bulldogs were up 35-33 after three quarters.
Bradburn made 21 points and Santel 14 for the Clermont countians.
The Barons lost to visiting Turpin 48-36 in the Buckeye Division of the Fort Ancient Valley. The hosts were ahead 6-5 after the first quarter, but were in arrears 15-14 and 33-21 after the other stops.
Senior guard Vernon Harris led Amelia scoring with 12 points.
Anderson downed the Barons 43-29 in a non-division game of the Fort Ancient Valley. The visiting Redskins were slightly ahead at the stops 9-8, 16-12, and 30-21.
Junior forward Tanner Owens' 11 points led the Amelia attack.
The Wildcats were whipped by Georgetown 53-41 with the hosts leading at each break 14-9, 30-20, and 43-29.

The Bulldogs were beaten by the School of Creative and Performing Arts 56-52 in Milford. The visitors were up 10-9 after one quarter before the Blue and Silver took over at the half 19-15. The score was 33-both going into the final stanza. The Clermont countians' scoring was paced by Williamson's 21 points and Ellington's 18.
The Lions lost to visiting Western Brown 75-68. The Red and Black was in the lead 19-15 after one period, but was in arrears the other stops 38-29 and 55-44.
New Richmond featured balance - Bostic made 21 points, junior forward Steven Binder 14, and senior guard Will Shoemaker and senior center Dylan Phillips 10 each.
The Cardinals played tough before falling at Georgetown 67-58. The G-Men led 16-14 after the first frame, but the Cardinals took over 33-24 at the half before the hosts barely went up 44-43 after the third period.
Junior forward Matt O'Brien's 25 points and junior forward Kyle Helton's 12 paced the Felicity offensive efforts.
