As construction ends on Schoolhouse Road, preparations are being made to install two flashing beacons for Willowville Elementary School. According to Cory Wright, acting administrator for Union Township, a meeting was recently held with West Clermont school officials regarding the need for signals.

“West Clermont has agreed to pay for the purchase of the signals if the township will help with the cost of paying for the electrical contractor to install them and all the necessary permits,” said Wright.

Wright says that the cost of the signs to the school district will be approximately $3,500 per sign. The electrical installation work will be considerably less.
