Joseph R. Holland, 54, lost his longtime battle with cancer on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010. He was born March 2, 1955 the son of Col. Leland and Mary Ann Holland.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his wife, Cathleen Kniesner Holland; his mother; two children, Kyle and Leah; three brothers, James (Marcia), John and Jerome (Walter); two sisters, Barbara (Robert) Feth and Rose (Jim) Brinkman; sister-in-law, Janice Barlag and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Feb. 10 at Holy Trinity Church in Batavia.
Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Cincinnati.
E. C. Nurre Funeral Home served the family.
