Eva W. Richter Bowers, 88, of Milford, died Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010. She was born Nov. 25, 1921.
Mrs. Bowers enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Lilies of the Valley Garden Club. She was also active with the Stepping Stones organization. She was also a long-time member of Milford First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Bowers and one sister, Helen R. Swisk.
She is survived by her children, Darba Bowers and William (Kathryn Huff) Bowers; two grandchildren, Sarah Selden and Matthew Bowers; six great grandchildren and one sister, Geraldine Cox.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at Milford First United Methodist Church.
