The Barons defeated next-door neighbor Batavia 58-41 in non-conference action. The victorious hosts recovered from a 7-5 first quarter deficit to lead 16-15 and 40-24 after the next intermissions.
Senior forward Morgan Sperry led a balanced Blue and White offense with 17 points closely followed by junior guard Bri Beasley and sophomore guard Kymmy Simon who made 16 points each. The Bulldogs’ scoring leaders were sophomore guard Holly Harris with 15 and senior forward Courtney Turner with 13.
