Career Center recognizes top performers

Grant Career Center recently held the First Quarter Attendance and Awards Assembly where students were recognized for achievements during the first quarter.
Students received Perfect Attendance Awards and Honor Roll Certificates for their efforts. The Top Performers in each program were also announced for the first quarter.
Instructors select Top Performers each quarter by using varying objectives ranging from grades, business and industry readiness, special projects, or improvements.
Students announced as Top Performers for the First Quarter include:
Allied Health Science, Laura Buckler and Chase Gleason;
Auto Collision, Destiny Hackney, Kevin Hamblin, Leroy Blevins and Colton Griffin;
Automotive Service Technology, Cody Wiedemann, Jared Miller, Jacob Bunch and Paul Skinner;
Business and Finance, Eli Wright, Corey Bishop and Megan Hicks;
Carpenty, Sean Hennies, Kim Workman, Nick Moore and Sarah Brunk;
Cooperative Education, Marcus Barber and Caleb Morgan;
Cosmetology, Ashley Bauman and Ciara Raper;
Culinary Careers, Katie Kroeger, Casey Rockholt, Kristen Sweet and Chris Grove;
Engineering Design, Jessica Thacker, Jessie Rust, Dillon Smith and Matthew Brown;
Horticulture, Nicole Fannin, Anita Appelmann, Brittany Mason and Christopher Barrett;
Medical Information Tech, Nikki Houlihan, Ashley Walker, Jenny Hoskins and Liz Osborne;
Metal Fabrication, Andy Collopy, Isaac Martin, Jerrid Lee and Daniel Lindsey;
The Teacher Academy, Kevin Poe, Libby Tremper and Anthony Goodrich.
As the Second Quarter begins, program instructors are setting new goals for the students to work toward in hopes of becoming the next Top Performers.
