Glen Este, Milford, and Amelia’s distaff bowlers are rolling over their competition

The Clermont County high school varsity girls bowling scene clearly shows coach Kathy DeMarko’s Glen Este gals as being in the forefront.

Glen Este won out over Loveland 2028-1954 in a Fort Ancient Valley Conference Buckeye Division duel. Lauren Gerber and Sarah Rowe led GE with the respective scores of 346 and 334.

At the Holiday Classic, Rowe rolled 502 and Gerber 494.

The Milford girls varsity bowling team has been knocking down a good number of opponents and are competitive in the Fort Ancient Valley Conference Buckeye Division. The Purple and White swept Milford in the Fort Ancient Valley Buckeye. Glen Este won the first battle 2016-1836. Gerber shot a 371 for the victors and Jessica Olsen 299 for the vanquished. In the return bout, the Purple People won out 2247-1997. Lorraine Davis bowled a 366 and Gerber 358 for the Trojans. Samantha Higgins knocked down 313 for the E-Gals.

The next GE victim was Amelia 2280-1784. In this non-division game of the Fort Ancient Valley Conference, Rowe rolled a 412 and Lauren Dietrich a 315 for GE and Amelia, respectively.

Northwest's Knights applied the only blemish to the Trojans with a 2252-2134 victory in the Fort Ancient Valley Conference non-division. Lorraine Davis headed the Purple and White with a 370.

Milford knocked down Lakota West's Firebirds by a 2064-1942 count. Higgins' 367 and Olson's 336 were the best individual totals achieved by the winning Clermont countians.

In the Holiday Classic, the Red and White's best scores were registered by Allyson McGeorge with a 416 and Jessica Kovacs with a 397.

In a two-team bout, Harrison edged the E-Gals 2058-2034 in the Fort Ancient Valley Conference. McGeorge downed 308 pins and Olson 306.

Amelia won a Fort Ancient Valley Conference Cardinal Division duel over King's Knights 1663-1654. The Blue and White's best scores were turned in by Sarah Flory with a 283, Dietrich 257, and Jourdan Dozier 232.

In another Cardinal Division contest, Wilmington's Hurricanes won out 1698-1538. Flory bowled a 291, Elaine Simons 272, and Dietrich 268.

Wilmington also won the second tilt, too, 1950-1732. Flory's 324 was the best two-game tally achieved by Amelia.
