Mentoring program presented at Williamsburg
On Nov. 24, members of the Mentoring Program at Williamsburg High School enjoyed a visit from Daniel “Woody” Breyer, Clermont County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney.
During his discussion, Breyer focused on several teen issues, including laws for minors versus laws for adults, laws governing incidents that occur on social media internet sites, and answered questions from the group. Mentoring is a program of Clermont 20/20, Inc. and works with students in school districts including Williamsburg, Live Oaks, CNE, Loveland and Batavia. Mentors meet with an assigned group of 10-15 students each week throughout the school year, to help the teens stay focused on reaching goals in their lives that will ultimately lead to graduation.
